Anak Bos Road War! is a map-building card game with racing theme, playable by 2-3 people (more could join but there would be fewer and fewer action cards for each).
At the start of the game, players build a route together using road segment cards: straight roads, turns, intersections, as well as dead-ends and portals, with a Start and Finish block. The challenges of the route are limited only by imagination.
The second part of the game will be the race. Each player puts their pawn at the Start block and is dealt 3 action cards. Each turn will consist of: 1) optionally playing an action card and taking another from the draw pile; and 2) rolling the dice and moving the player's pawn according to the number of the dice. The player who first lands exactly on the Finish block wins.
The fun part is the actions, which can completely change the play dynamics and the nature of the route. There are 5 available actions: 1) BAKAR! (Roast!), to remove a road segment adjacent to the player; 2) TUKAR! (Replace!), to replace a segment on the route with another also on the route; 3) PUTAR! (Rotate!), to rotate a single route segment; 4) PUGAR! (Renovate!), to replace a road segment on the route with another from the spare pile; and 5) TEBAR! (Raise!), to add a road segment from the spare pile; and 6) SABAR! (Restrict!), to make the next player skip their turn.
